Most AI tooling lets an agent send mail through somebody else's domain and calls it done. Then a supplier replies, and the reply goes nowhere. An agent that cannot receive is half an agent.
A real mailbox, on your domain
orders-agent@yourbrand.com is a genuine IMAP and SMTP mailbox, not a relay alias. It has a password you hold, storage of its own, and a Sent folder that matches what actually went out.
Inbound arrives as a signed webhook
New mail POSTs to your agent within a couple of minutes, HMAC-signed so it can prove the message came from us. Failed deliveries retry on a backoff for hours rather than vanishing.
REST and a hosted MCP endpoint
Point any MCP-capable runtime at one URL with an API key: Claude, ChatGPT connectors, Codex, Grok, or your own code over plain REST. There is nothing to install and no SDK to adopt.
Limits that live in the code
One recipient per send. A hard daily cap per mailbox. No bulk endpoint exists to call. Every send is logged with the agent that made it, so an agent that misbehaves is a contained problem.
